THE Leader is looking to find the region's Best Tattoo Studio 2026.
After a week of nominating, we rounded up the top 10 from across Wrexham and Flintshire.
This is a mix of businesses that have impressed with their creative skill, customer service and studio vibe.
Now our readers get to help crown the winner by voting for their favourite.
Voting forms will appear every day in the Leader newspaper from Monday, August 31, for a two-week voting period ending Friday, September 11.

Ahead of revealing the winner, we find out more about each of the finalist...
Bevinks - Saints the Studio, Padeswood Road, Buckley
This Flintshire studio recently celebrated its first anniversary, ran by business partners Molly Bevan (tattooist that works under the name of Bevinks) and Holly Jones (who works under the name of Philomena Aesthetics and specialises in all things piercings and aesthetics).
Bevinks said: "We decided to open our lovely studio together, it just made sense!
"I have been in the tattoo industry for three years. Previously I had worked in management in a few different places but tattooing was something I always wanted to do from a young age, I just never had the confidence to do it.
"I got myself an apprenticeship at a local studio and worked in another one before deciding to open my own. Pursuing my dream was the best decision I ever made and I would encourage anyone else to do the same.
"I offer a range of different styles but specialise in black and grey realism. I’m inspired by lots of different styles of tattoos, and I also take inspiration from my clients, as I love hearing their ideas and bringing them to life.
"I discover new techniques and influences every day, which helps me develop as an artist and ensure no two pieces are the same."
Bevinks absolutely welcomes first-timers, adding: "I would encourage people having a first tattoo to come and have a chat. It helps to give me a better understanding of their idea, style, size and placement of the tattoo. It also helps make them feel more comfortable and have a better idea of what to expect. There’s never any rush to book in, it’s important that they take their time and are happy before making their decision.
"A big misconception in the industry is that all tattoos have to have meaning. Whilst it’s lovely to carry a sentimental tattoo with you always, it’s also acceptable to get a tattoo because you like how it looks and can appreciate the artwork.
"I see a lot of different trends and I love them all. Having an online social media presence is now part and parcel of being a tattoo artist. I am still trying to get to grips with making TikToks (woefully).
"But I think what makes a tattoo timeless is getting something that someone has chosen because they love it, whether it’s meaningful or whether they loved the artwork, I think that’s what stands the test of time."
Making it as a finalist was a memorable moment for Bevinks. They said: "I was very overwhelmed and appreciative to make it into the top 10. I’m still very early into my career of three years and with being the only tattoo artist in Saints the Studio, I didn’t think it would be possible.
"I am so grateful to everyone that nominated me and our business, this means so much to me and wouldn’t be possible without you. This has given me more motivation to keep going and extremely excited to see where my career takes me
"I think that my clients appreciate the time and care I put into both their tattoo and their experience. Every client is different, so it’s important they all feel relaxed and comfortable throughout their appointment. I think this has played a large role in the support we have received. Also goes without saying that hygiene has to be second to none (thanks OCD).
"Being In the top 10 is already a win for me. It’s amazing to place anywhere in the top 10, especially as there are so many talented artists in the area. I never would have expected to place anywhere close in my first three years in the industry.
"Coming first would be the cherry on top of an already amazing achievement, but I’m already so grateful to make the category and to everyone who has voted and supported us."
