A pub group is inviting guests to unwind and savour Sundays with its new Roast & Relax experience.
Bear Inns, which runs pubs across Cheshire, is introducing the scheme to encourage visitors to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy the final day of the weekend without feeling rushed.
The experience will be available every Sunday at The Swan in Tarporley and The Lion in Malpas.
Woody Barlow, founder and director of Bear Inns, said: "Life feels busier than ever these days, and we think Sundays should be about slowing down, putting the phones away and spending quality time with the people who matter most.
"That's exactly what Roast & Relax is all about.
"Great food, a welcoming pub, live music and no pressure to rush off.
"Whether you're catching up with friends, bringing the family together or treating yourself to a proper Sunday roast, we want everyone to leave feeling they've made the most of their weekend."
The Roast & Relax experience combines classic Sunday roasts, live acoustic music, and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere.
Guests can enjoy generous portions of roast meats, homemade Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy.
The meal is served with a choice of freshly made sauces, including horseradish, apple, bread, and mint.
Creamy cauliflower cheese is also available as an optional extra.
To create a truly relaxed environment, Bear Inns has removed the usual two-hour dining limit, allowing guests to linger over dessert, enjoy another drink, or simply continue their conversations without feeling rushed.
Sunday roasts are guaranteed until 6pm, with food served until 9pm.
On the second Sunday of each month, both pubs will feature laid-back live acoustic music to complete the experience.
Bear Inns has also launched a Roast & Relax Loyalty Card.
Diners earn a stamp with each Sunday roast, unlocking 10% off their second Sunday roast, 20% off their third Sunday roast, and 30% off their fourth Sunday roast.
The loyalty scheme runs until November 22, 2026.
For those wanting to extend their weekend, both pubs offer boutique accommodation.
Guests can enjoy an overnight stay, explore the surrounding countryside, and start the week refreshed.
Roast & Relax Sundays invite guests to make the most of the day through good food, great company, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
