Ahead of revealing the winner, we find out more about each of the finalist...
Wrexham Ink - Chester Street, Wrexham
The studio has been at its current location since March 2012, having moved to a bigger space after many years in another part of the city.
This year marks owner Nick Green's 39th year in the tattoo trade. He said: "My first adult job was as an apprentice in the old Crosville bus company doing vehicle body building, after that I did a very brief stint in British Aerospace, but the whole time I was obsessed with art and tattoo art specifically. Art has always been my first love.

"The business is owned by my wife Delyth Green and I. We named it Wrexham Ink because we are the longest running studio, not only in Wrexham but North Wales, so it seemed appropriate to include Wrexham in the name, because we are proud to be a part of the community."
He is joined at the studio by four other artists - his daughter Lawri Green, and son Liam Green, Jerry Kells, who has been part of the team for more than 27 years, and Henry, who has been with there for three years.
Each has their own style they're most known for: Jerry - neo traditional, neo Japanese and pop art tattooing; Lawri - water colour, feminine fine line and colour realism tattoos; Liam - black and grey realism tattoos, portraits and absolutely loves doing animal tattoos; Henry Anime - loves Anime tattoos and black stipple tattoos.

Co-owner and artist Nick Green, with examples of this work.
Nick added: "When I started in the trade you had to be what we call an all rounder, so specialising wasn't really a thing back then, these days I still enjoy all styles but I absolutely love tattooing images of animals in any style.
"At the moment we are doing a lot of fine line tattoos, traditional tattoos, Japanese tattoos will always be timeless but most styles will remain, and ebb and flow in popularity."
Co-owner Delyth Green, and shop manager Jac O'Brien.
Delyth is credited with being the "shop mummy" and looking after nervous clients. And the team is supported by shop manager Jac O'Brien, best known for her "absolute honesty and integrity, and unbelievable administration skills".
For anyone considering their first tattoo, Nick is happy to have a chat: "We always welcome newcomers and we give them the time they need to find the right tattoo for them."
Liam Green and some of the work he has done.
Behind the creativity of course, there's a business to run, and Nick explains: "There are lots of misconceptions about the trade, the most prominent is that it's easy money, when it's anything but that. It takes huge amounts of time and dedication to become successful. The highlights are definitely the people you meet, most tattoo artists will meet the majority of their friends through their work."
It meant a lot for the team to find themselves in the top 10, and Nick said: "We were all absolutely chuffed, we are always grateful to our customers and friends that support us, being nominated means that people went out of their way for us and that is very special.
"We have always treated people with respect and kindness and with our experience in the trade, we are now tattooing the fourth generation of some of our clients.
"To win would be fantastic, to receive the recognition of the local community, we would be very grateful."
