Emmerdale star Patsy Kensit has revealed how she was left "skint" after losing everything in a financial crisis.
The 58-year-old actress is returning to the ITV soap later this year as Sadie King.
Ahead of her return, she spoke candidly about her money troubles during an appearance on Davina McCall’s Begin Again podcast.

The actress said: "I don’t know if it’s relatable to anyone but I had my pensions and everything and I was very vigilant about all of that.
"Then I entered into a corporate thing and I lost, this is 10 years ago, I lost everything.
"Lost my home.
"And so I’m having to start from scratch.
"But, I’m a survivor, always have been."
The actress rose to fame as a child star and enjoyed a successful career in film and television, including a role opposite Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon 2.
She was also once married to Liam Gallagher and lived in a mansion in Primrose Hill during the height of her fame.
Despite her decades-long career, she revealed that a single bad investment left her financially ruined just a decade ago.
Ms Kensit said: "You just take each day at a time and I do that with regards to my work and the mammoth amount of scripts that I’m learning.
"I try to just keep it in the day.
"Tomorrow, who knows?"

The interview comes as Ms Kensit prepares to return to Emmerdale in a dramatic storyline, 20 years after her original two-year run from 2004 to 2006.
The star is expected to return to the ITV soap later this year.
She also spoke about her return on the podcast, revealing that she has already been back on set for "two months".
"I'm only back for six months but the storylines are fantastic, it's written really well," she said.
"It's a hell of a ride, and I'm right in the middle of it at the moment.
"Everyone has been so gorgeous to me, going back...
"To go back and have cast members that have stayed on the show, or had left and have gone back, just to see them again...
"There's a real truth about the Yorkshire welcome, and that is something I've had in spades going back on the show."
Sadie King originally appeared on Emmerdale between 2004 and 2006.
During her initial run, Sadie was involved in affairs with Cain Dingle, Robert Sugden, and her brother-in-law Matthew King.
While details of Sadie’s new storyline remain under wraps, it has been revealed she will clash with Kim Tate, played by Claire King.
Emmerdale is on at 8pm on weeknights on ITV1 and STV or from 7am on ITVX and STV Player and YouTube.
