Mount Vines wines coming to Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse

From September 4, guests will be able to enjoy the vineyard’s wines at the racecourse, with bottles also being gifted to winning owners and trainers on race days.

The collaboration begins at Bangor-On-Dee’s North Wales Business Day fixture.

Rupert Worden, group catering director at Chester Race Company, said: "We know how important it is for Bangor-On-Racecourse to support local suppliers, as our connection to the North Wales community is something we both take seriously and are proud of.

Mount Vines’ wines will now feature on the racecourse’s wine list.

They will be available in bars, restaurants, and private dining areas across the venue.

David and Linda Williams, founder and owners of Mount Vines, will attend the September 4 fixture to introduce their Dragon’s Blush Rose and Dragon’s Sparkling Rose to the hospitality team.

They said: "We are delighted to be signing up with Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse and very much appreciate their support of our Vineyard business.

"We hope that Mount Vines and the Racecourse will enjoy mutual success."

The partnership supports the Chester Race Company’s sustainability goals, which include achieving climate positivity by 2029.
