A main road to Wrexham Maelor Hospital is set for a period of closure due to resurfacing work.
Croesnewydd Road in Wrexham will be closed overnight for resurfacing from Wednesday, August 5 to Wednesday, August 19, 2026, between 6pm and 6am.
Councillor David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment, said: "These resurfacing works are important to maintain and improve the condition of Croesnewydd Road, especially as it is a main route to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
"We appreciate the patience of residents and motorists while the work is carried out, and we will aim to keep disruption to a minimum."
Access to the hospital car park will remain available via the entrance opposite Moneypenny on Croesnewydd Road, and emergency vehicles will be able to use the road at all times.
Residents and motorists should be aware that work will also take place overnight on Saturday, August 15.
A signed diversion of around 2.6km, taking approximately seven minutes, will be in place via Croesnewydd Road, Watery Road and Bradley Road.

From the closure point, motorists should head towards Croesnewydd Road before continuing along Watery Road and turning onto Bradley Road, following the route through Central Road and Regent Street.
The diversion then continues along Mold Road and Berse Road before joining Rhyd Broughton Lane.
Drivers are directed back towards the Croesnewydd Road roundabout, where they can rejoin their original route.
The same diversion will operate in reverse for traffic travelling in the opposite direction.
