A539 reopens near Wrexham following crash on Saturday

A road near Wrexham has reopened this morning following a crash on Saturday (July 11) evening.

The A539 was closed at Cumber's Bank in Hamner at around 8.30pm.

North Wales Police said this was because of a road traffic collision and said it would be closed "for some time".

They asked motorists to avoid the area.

A post on NWP's Wrexham Rural Facebook page said: "There has been a road traffic collision on the A539 in Cumber's Bank, Hanmer.

"The road will be closed for some time - please avoid the area.

"Thank you for your co-operation."

According to Google Maps this morning the road has reopened.
