A popular takeaway located in a Flintshire town is marking its first birthday this month.

Bunlicious has been based on Wrexham Street in Mold since this time last year.

Run by Hasan Ali, the business specialises in burgers, loaded fries, desserts and milkshakes.

Since it arrived in Mold, Bunlicious has become a popular spot for food-lovers to enjoy with online food reviewers also regularly attending and praising the venue.

Earlier this month, the team handed out 50 free burgers as a way of saying thank you to its loyal customers.

As the business marks its first birthday, Hasan says it has been 'incredibly rewarding' to see it turn into what it has become so far.

He said: "This is my first business venture. The idea for Bunlicious came from my own experiences growing up, where I felt there weren't many places serving the kind of high-quality food I enjoyed.

"As a result, I often found myself making my own food at home and developed a real passion for cooking and creating new flavours. Over time, I realised that this passion could become something much bigger."

Hasan added: "When the opportunity arose to open a business in Mold, I saw the chance to bring that vision to life. My goal was to create a place that offered great food, generous portions and excellent customer service, while giving people a local option they could rely on for quality and consistency.

"Over the past year, we have been fortunate to build a loyal customer base and receive fantastic feedback from the local community. It's been incredibly rewarding to see Bunlicious grow and become part of the local food scene.

"We're proud of what we've achieved so far and are excited about continuing to develop the business and serve customers in Mold and the surrounding areas."
