A GAME OF Thrones star has been announced for Wales Comic Con's part two events later this year.
With nearly 20 years of history, Wales Comic Con has become one of Europe’s leading fan conventions, previously attracting more than 20,000 attendees across a single weekend.
Following its recent return to Llangollen, the event is continuing to grow, with this summer’s edition making greater use of the pavilion’s outdoor space while retaining the core Comic Con experience fans expect.
The popular fan convention will take place once more over the weekend of August 15 and 16, bringing a mix of film, television, gaming, anime and pop culture to North Wales.
And the team has already announced that Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson will be among the guest list.
The 6ft 9' Icelandic strongman is known for having portrayed Ser Gregor "the Mountain" Clegane in the HBO series Game of Thrones for five seasons.
Tickets to the next installation of Wales Comic Con are available to pre-order here now.
Also confirmed so far for Wales Comic Con is Kev Bayliss, who is a legendary figure in video game history, being the artist behind some of the most iconic characters of the 90's, working at Rare and helping redefine Donkey Kong while also creating Diddy Kong.
