IN FEBRUARY, we tried out four different food spots as part of our 'Taste Test' series - and each of them left us feeling impressed.
If you are looking for something different to try out food-wise this weekend, then we may just have you covered here as we take a look back at our archives for last month.
At the start of the month, we visited Broughton Shopping Park, trying out Pedro's and The Donut and Crepe Theatre, which sit right in the heart of the park.
Pedro's cheesy bacon loaded fries were a hit, being described by taste tester Matt Warner as 'unapologetically indulgent'.

The Donut and Crepe Theatre then delivered something sweet thanks to a banoffee crepe and a caramel‑loaded donut.
Matt described the food vans as being 'unbeatable'.
In the same month, reporter Barrie White popped over to Chester to try out Little Niki’s Tearooms on The Rows in Northgate Street.
He ordered a 'magnificent' sausage and cheese toastie which was 'so tasty'.

Barrie also described the venue as being a 'magical little spot' and also enjoyed some dessert - a carrot cake which he says was 'in the top five best slices of carrot cake, I’ve ever had'.
A visit to a new Thai takeaway located in the heart of Wrexham city centre was also made in February by myself.
Kati Thai Express has recently opened on Bank Street Road and so I just had to try it out - particularly as it had been receiving some rave reviews from those who had ordered from there.

And it turned out to be a real 'hidden delight' down a narrow road in Wrexham.
I opted for the pot of jasmine rice and crispy chicken, which I topped with garlic and black pepper sauce and I have to say that it was simply sublime.
Keep an eye out for our March round-up of locations we have tried out over the next few weeks.
Where do you think we should visit next? Let us know in the comments.
