Drivers in Wrexham should prepare for overnight road closures on the A483 as essential maintenance works are scheduled to take place in September and October.

From September 30 to October 1, the Gresford bypass will see a southbound off-slip closure for cyclic maintenance.

The restrictions are set to remain in place overnight, with diversions directing traffic from A483 Junction 5 southbound to return northbound to Junction 6.

Following this, on October 1 to October 2, the Wrexham Bypass will experience closures on both the northbound on-slip and off-slip.

The restrictions are expected to remain in place overnight, with diversions directing northbound traffic to Junction 7 and then returning southbound to Junction 6.

On October 5 to October 6, the Newbridge bypass will undergo cyclic maintenance, affecting both northbound and southbound traffic.

The restrictions are scheduled to remain in place from 8pm to 6am, including closures at Junction 1 northbound off-slip.

The following night, from October 6 to October 7, the Ruabon and Gresford bypass will have southbound and northbound slip closures.

For the Gresford Northbound Off-slip, diversions will be in effect, guiding traffic to continue northbound to A55 Junction 38 and return southbound to Junction 7.
