The club, situated off Holt Road at Llan-Y-Pwll, had lodged a planning application with Wrexham Council to build a new facility which would contain the golf simulator.
A planning statement says that the simulator would be used by the course's professional as a "coaching aid and to introduce new players to the sport".

A small building would be constructed to contain the simulator - which uses hardware and software to recreate the experience of playing golf on a virtual course.
The facility, which would resemble a small log cabin from the outside, would be located on the club's existing car park - in the area allocated for golf buggy parking.
Wrexham Council's planning officials have given the application the green light to proceed.
