WALES COMIC Con has returned to start its new lease of life in Llangollen this weekend.
After spending previous years being based out of Wrexham University, the popular event was held at Llangollen Pavilion this time around.
As always, guests piled in in great numbers, cosplaying their way around the venue - with the likes of Deadpool, Darth Vader and Chewbacca all spotted.
Fans had the opportunity to browse some fantastic stalls selling a number of top collectors items from FunkoPops to autographed pictures.
They also got the chance to meet some of their on-screen heroes including TJ Thyne, Corin Nemec, Mark Addy, Jennifer Beals and Amber Benson.
A live wrestling show from PCW kept fans thoroughly entertained and there were plenty of great photo opportunities too with the likes of the Hogwarts Express, Stargate and Jurassic Park vehicles out on display.
Despite the poor weather on the opening day (Saturday September 20), guests turned up in their droves to see what the new-look venue had to offer.
Speaking after the opening day, the Wales Comic Con team said: "It might have been a wet weekend in Llangollen, but our amazing trader halls and teepee stage have been buzzing with energy all throughout Wales Comic Con!
"A huge thank you to every single trader and exhibitor who joined us this year — rain or shine, you’ve brought colour, creativity, and community to the Pavilion. And thank you to everyone who braved the weather to support them.
"Here’s to making memories together, whatever the weather."
