Reggies Artisan Bakery & Kitchen - Chester Street, Wrexham
As well as making it to the top 10, Reggies has celebrated their second year in business, opening on September 4, 2023.
Reggies owner Richard Sommer with former Mayor, Andy Williams.
Owner Richard Sommer, 49, whose nickname gave the bakery its name, was shocked to be named a finalist.
He said: "It was lovely and flattering to be nominated. I think what people like is we're small and intimate, and people come out their way and we're very family orientated.
"It's been interesting and very busy since we opened, it's been very positive.
"We were take aback, it was so lovely to be recognised and acknowledged."

Victorian details such as this fireplace, remain at Reggies Artisan Bakery and Kitchen
Richard's sister Sharon Sommer is shop manageress at Reggies, and his wife Suzanne helps on the weekends in the Victorian building.
That history carries over into the bakes, with Richard adding: "We have a very Victorian themed bakery, and we've kept the character and charm of the place, including original Victorian fireplaces.
"I'd say we're more recognised as a savoury bakery, more thank confectionery, although we do have cakes available that are made on the premises.
Outside Reggies Artisan Bakery and Kitchen are Suzanne Sommer, Sharon Sommer and Barbara Griffiths.
"We're trying to get a bit more diverse with what we offer, between the bakery and cafe, and may diverse into something else in the future.
"There's our ever changing specials board, which can be harissa chicken wraps or spicy chorizo shakshuka, alongside bara brith or bread and butter pudding.
"We have Victorian cordials as well as freshly ground coffee."
Savoury and sweet treats at Reggies Artisan Bakery and Kitchen.
For first time visitors, Richard, who takes on all the baking himself, said: "They can expect a very high standard of food and service.
"Lovely comfortable and cosy atmosphere, with a lot of attention to detail in everything we do, from the table service to the fresh baked produce.
"Our pies prove popular, and the traditional items on the menu in the cafe. The menu allows us to test the waters with new themes too."
What would the win mean to Richard, a chef by trade who has worked in the industry since he was 15-years-old? He said: "It would mean so much. To have that would mean a great deal."
