POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a hit and run in Wrexham.
On Monday, June 16, a collision was reported near the Premier Store on Victoria Road, Brynteg, in which an e-bike collided with a child.
The e-bike was being ridden by a male in a balaclava and dark clothing sometime between 5pm and 6pm.
The 11-year-old child, who is local to the area, sustained minor injuries and his own bike was damaged due to the collision.
The rider of the e-bike did not stop and left the scene.
A van driver stopped to help the boy, and police are keen to speak to him as he may have information that could assist with the ongoing investigation.
