A MAIN road has reopened following a traffic incident in Connah's Quay, Flintshire (April 19).

At approximately 11.30am, emergency services were called out to a reported traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle.

The B5129 High Street was  closed in both directions between Mold Road and Wepre Drive, with the incident taking place near the junction with Dee Road.

Police diverted motorists away from the scene with traffic continuing to move slowly. 

An update from the Inrix Traffic service confirmed the road reopened at approximately 13.50.

It said: "High Street in both directions re-opened, police incident over at Fron Road."
