AN INCIDENT of criminal damage has occurred in the Rhostyllen area of Wrexham, say police.
An investigation has been launched after the incident next to the football pitch on Thursday, April 3.
Police shared an image on social media of damage to the grass.
A police spokesperson said: "Our investigation suggests this may have been carried out by youths, and we are actively monitoring the area through increased patrols.

"We urge parents and guardians to take this opportunity to educate their children about appropriate behaviour and the consequences of damaging property.
