New food hygiene ratings have been awarded establishments across Wrexham and Flintshire, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

In Wrexham, eight scores have been revealed.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Robinwood Activity Centre at Cross Lanes Hotel Bangor Road, Cross Lanes, Wrexham; rated on October 7

• Rated 5: The Drunk Monk at 30-31 High Street, Wrexham; rated on October 7

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Chirk AAA at Chirk Amateur Athletic Association Holyhead Road, Chirk, Wrexham; rated on October 14

• Rated 5: The Drunk Monk at 3 Overton Arcade, Wrexham; rated on October 7

In Flintshire, 14 establishments have received updated ratings.
