Wrexham AFC: Discover 'Welshpool' at Stok Cae Ras cafe

WREXHAM AFC is pleased to announce its cafe at the Centenary Club is now open.

Serving hot and cold drinks, and Welsh cream teas, including Welsh cakes, every Monday to Thursday, the new social hub will be open from 10am until 2pm.

The cafe is situated at the Stok Cae Ras along Mold Road in Wrexham and is the official match-day bar for home games.

Visits can also visit the cafe to see the exclusive Welshpool statute wearing the suit donated by striker Paul Mullin who made a cameo in the Deadpool & Wolverine film.

'Super' Mullin surprised Wrexham fans in the film wearing the Welshpool costume covered in the national flag - a Welsh version of Ryan Reynold's character, Deadpool.

The brief scenes were a fantastic tribute to the north Wales football club and newfound Welsh fans of Ryan Reynolds after he bought the Wrexham club back in 2020 with It's Always Sunny star Rob McElhenney.

Now, fans can see the costume for themselves in the newly-launched cafe.
