THE FUNERAL of a Wrexham man who died suddenly last month will take place this week.

Rhys Coull, who was from Coedpoeth, died at the Manchester Royal Infirmary on June 8.

The 20-year-old was an Environmental Science student at Keele University.

A much-loved son on of Suzette and Ashley, Rhys' family say he was a 'kind friend to all that knew him'.

An obituary posted on the Leader's death notices read: "Rhys will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. We will miss his kindness, amazing laugh and awesome fashion sense."

Rhys' funeral service will take place at Pentrebychan Crematorium Chapel on Thursday (July 11) at 12.45pm.

That will be followed by the burial at St Mary's Church in Minera at around 1.30pm.

Attendees are invited to wear a splash of pink to the funeral and donations in memory of Rhys for the 1st Coedpoeth Scouts can be made here.

Those unable to attend the ceremony at Pentrebychan are also welcome to watch a LiveStream via this link.

Everyone attending the ceremony is invited to please incorporate a splash of pink into their attire.

Over £1,000 has so far been donated to the cause in memory of Rhys and several tributes have been left on the 'much loved' page.

Rhys' mum Suzette wrote: "My boy Rhysy, never in my whole life have I had to do something as heart breaking as saying goodbye to you.

"Life will never be the same, without you, always telling me 'love you mom', I'll miss your smile, your laugh, your face and plaiting your hair in a rush as you were going through the door.

"What will we do without out. Goodnight, God bless son. Love always mum."
