A GWERSYLLT man accused of murdering a 52-year-old has pleaded not guilty in court today (Friday, June 28).
Matthew Hardy, of Wheat Close, appeared via videolink at Mold Crown Court for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing.
The 36-year-old was charged with the murder of Antony Derwent (pictured) - the alleged offence having taken place in Gwersyllt on April 7 of this year.
At today's hearing (June 28), Hardy pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Judge Rhys Rowlands ordered for a pre-trial review to take place on Friday, October 25.
A trial date has been set to take place on Monday, November 4 at Mold Crown Court.
That is expected to last around two weeks, according to Simon Rogers who is prosecuting in the case.
