Motorists have been advised of heavy congestion in Flintshire following a collision.
Traffic Wales confirmed on Saturday morning that congestion was building up on the A55 Westbound prior to Northop.
But at 10.14am, a spokesman added that there had been a "report of a collision in this area," with congestion also being reported at Deeside Industrial Park.
The spokesman added: "Proceed with care.
"Traffic officers and police en-route."
A police spokesman said: "Due to a road traffic collision on the A55 westbound by the services at Northop Hall the traffic is currently very heavy.
"Please take care and avoid the area if possible. Thank you for your co-operation."
