A BROKEN down HGV has sparked long delays on the A483 near the Posthouse roundabout this evening (Thursday, May 23).
A lane closure is reportedly in place northbound (towards Chester) from J6 A5156 Gresford Interchange to A55 J38 Posthouse Roundabout.
1 lane (of 2) is closed on the #A483 northbound in #Cheshire between the #B5445 (#Belgrave) and the #A55 (Wrexham Road Interchange, near #Chester) due to a broken down lorry.

Police are on scene and recovery has been arranged.

Motorists have taken to social media to state it is causing "major hold ups" and are urging people to avoid the area.
National Highways North West issued a subsequent update to state that there are now 90 minute delays in the area - with three miles of congestion.
