She is a very active girl full of fun and energy. She is good with other dogs but not cats. Apple would also be great with older children.

She is a gorgeous young girl who will make a great addition to a family but as she has never lived in a home she will need time to settle.

Meet Kyla

Kyla is a one-year-old American Akita who came to the shelter from the pound after serving seven-days as a stray. She was unclaimed and has lost a little weight as a result.

She is being taken care of and has discovered basic commands. She's playful and energetic. Owners will need to put in some basic training.

Kyla loves going on walks and is easy to work with. She pulls a little on a lead but with correction is getting much better. She loves other dogs and prefers male company so will have to be introduced slowly to a new play mate.

She does have a small injury to her nose but that’s normal for akitas in a kennel environment. The ideal home for Kyla would be and active one, good knowledge and owned Akitas before, older children as she is so bouncy and could knock smaller ones over.

She needs someone who is willing to give her some time and patience, as well as amazing companionship.

Meet Cherry

Another two-year-old Greyhound who has never raced. She's a very quiet girl who loves giving people love and kisses.

She is also great with other dogs as she has been in kennels. Cherry has also never lived in a home before so will need someone with lots of love and patience.

Cherry will be better with older children. She is very sweet natured who will make someone a great companion. She is also black all over but has two toes that are white

Meet Blue

MOST READ

After medical treatment for her chest infection and good food she’s come on so much. She loves being around other dogs, is great on and off a lead, is clean in the house and despite all she has been through is such a loving girl.

Unfortunately she also had to be rushed in as she developed pyometra.  She has now been spayed and is recovering. Poor Blue needs an amazing home where she will be loved - someone will be very lucky to have this beautiful girl in their lives.
