Neil Walker, SIBA head of communications and marketing, said: "The SIBA Independent Beer Awards seek to highlight the very best beers in the UK in a huge range of styles, strengths and flavours, from traditional bitters and stouts to modern hazy IPAs, pale ales and a variety of speciality and international styles.

"Judged by beer experts, experienced beer judges, and fellow brewers from other regions - they are seen very much as the 'brewers' choice awards' in the UK and I'd like to congratulate all winners for taking home a medal against tough competition."

The SIBA Wales & West Independent Beer Awards judge a huge range of beers across a number of styles in separate cask, keg, and bottle and can competitions. Winners from the regional awards will move forwards to the National Finals in March 2025. That means that Black Tiger and Border Bitter will go to the final competition at Beer X.

Richard Lever, Magic Dragon Brewing co-founder and head brewer, said: "It's fantastic to win so many awards out of the large number of beers entered into the competition and we're really looking forward to going to the national awards with the Keg Border Bitter and Black Tiger. It's been an exciting year so far with the opening of our new bar in Whitchurch and now these awards.

• Magic Dragon Brewing started in 2019 by Richard and Liz Lever. They have two bars, one in Wrexham town centre and the other, The Crafty Dragon, opened in Whitchurch at the end of February.
