AN environmental charity has announced a schedule of events in Wrexham to help people get creative.

Groundwork North Wales have an exciting line-up of craft workshops coming to Venue in the Park, at Alyn Waters Country Park.

From macramé to mosaic, these hands-on sessions invite members of the community to unleash their inner artist, enjoying the wonderful surroundings of the country park.

Seasoned crafters and beginners alike are welcome to get involved in a variety of engaging activities, with the opportunity to learn new skills under expert supervision.

Katy Turner, café and conference manager, said: "These workshops are a wonderful opportunity for people to learn new skills, socialise with like-minded individuals, and unwind in the picturesque surroundings of Alyn Waters Country Park.

Workshops take place on the following dates:

• May 11, 10am-11.30am, £20 - iris paper folding workshop

• June 15, 10am-12.30pm, £25 - mosaic butterfly workshop

• June 22, 10am-noon, £25 - macramé workshop

• September 7, 10am-noon, £35 - wire art workshop

• October 26, 1pm-3pm, £35 - cupcake decorating workshop

Whether attending solo, with friends, or as a family outing, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Each workshop session will be led by experienced instructors, ensuring attendees receive personalised guidance and support every step of the way.

All equipment and materials will be provided, and price includes a choice of hot drink and delicious cake from onsite Caffi Cyfle. All profits will go towards Groundwork North Wales charitable aims in the community.
