WREXHAM FANS took over the Racecourse ground this evening after the club won promotion to League One.
After the 6-0 hammering against Forest Green Rovers, and other results going their way, Wrexham fans defied the announcers by taking to the pitch.
Having been advised not to invade the pitch, this only incentivised supporters more, with a see of red covering the turf.
Supporters serenaded the club's players and staff with songs, lifting players high in the air as Wrexham achieved back-to-back promotion for the first time.
