A FLINTSHIRE pub is welcoming a new management team next week as its landlady retires.

The Drovers Arms in Mold, is welcoming 'Al's Smokehouse.' With more than 27 years experience, Al and his family can't wait to get started.

The takeover will commence on Tuesday, April 16 ,as current landlady Joyce Probert hands over to enjoy her well-deserved retirement. The pub, situated on Denbigh Road, will then open to customers as normal on April 18.

Al said: "There will be no immediate changes to the pub. We will operate as a family friendly community pub with food.

"But we will be introducing a lunchtime and dinner time menu and special boards along with live music, karaoke and a smokehouse menu.

"I am passionate about my smoked food and yes all food is smoked prepared on the premises using authentic USA rubs and techniques.

"Sunday roasts will also be back as will be home-cooked food. I want to thank all customers in advance for your continued support."
