WREXHAM Council has confirmed a number of roads have been shut across the borough due to flooding.
Amber flood alerts are in place as heavy rain and strong winds have battered North Wales this morning.
As a result, the local authority has been forced into closing roads in the area as a result of them flooding.
The roads closed by the council are: Burton Hall Road, Rossett; Rosemary Lane, Rossett; Wynnstay Lane, Plas Madoc.

A Wrexham Council spokesperson said: "Several roads across the county borough have been closed due to flooding.
"These will be reopened once the flood waters have receded, and if safe to do so. Burton Hall Road, Rossett;·Rosemary Lane, Rossett; Wynnstay Lane, Plas Madoc (near to the skip site)."
