A HIGH school in Wrexham is partially closed today (Tuesday, April 9) due to a "severe heating malfunction".
The Maelor School, Penley is only open to years 11, 12 and 13 today due to an issue with the school's heating system.
Head teacher, Simon Ellis, said: "I have asked the staff to set suitable work on Google Classrooms for other year groups and I will update you tomorrow (Tuesday) as to the situation.
"Year 11 are encouraged to wear warm non-uniform.
"All staff are to attend school as usual."
At 3pm, The Maelor School, Penley issued an update on the matter. It said: "Thank you for your patience and understanding, the engineers have fixed our heating so the school will be OPEN for ALL pupils from tomorrow, pupils are expected to wear full school uniform."
