FLINTSHIRE County Council has confirmed when works on a main road between Wrexham and Flintshire will be complete.
Roadworks are being undertaken on the A550 Wrexham Road near the turn off for Hope.
The roadworks have led to significant traffic delays in all directions, with queues coming southbound from the A55, northbound from Llay, along Gresford Road, and through Hope on Hawarden Road.
The area has been especially busy during rush hour times in the morning and between 4pm-6pm as commuters make their way home from work.
The work being undertaken is part of the council's active travel scheme and is set to be complete by the end of the week.
