AN appeal remains open 11 years after the disappearance of a Wrexham horse breeder.

Wednesday marked another year since Acrefair resident David Clwyd Davies went missing, in 2013.

Over the intervening years, numerous appeals have been launched and renewed.

And as of Friday, April 5, the Missing People charity confirmed to the Leader the appeal remains open and Mr Davies remains missing.

A statement on the charity's appeal page reads: David, we are here for you whenever you are ready.

"We can listen, talk you through what help you need, pass a message for you and help you to be safe."

Anyone who has information can visit the appeal page (reference number 18-001939) and make contact with Missing People.

On the day of his disappearance, David Clwyd Davies was due to meet a neighbour for an appointment.

He failed to turn up, which was described by police as "out of character" for him.

At the time he went missing, Mr Davies was described as 5’ 11” tall, of heavy build with a thick beard.

He usually wore jeans, a fleece top and woolly hat and was well known in the local community.
