A NUMBER of "big names" are set to be moving to Eagles Meadow in Wrexham, the site's manager has confirmed.
Josh Price has been the central manager at the site in Wrexham since 2022 and discussed plans for Eagles Meadow moving forward.
There has been much speculation of potential new businesses, including a leisure operator that has submitted a planning application to the council.
Following the departure of M&S last year, Josh revealed there is plenty "to be excited about" when it comes to the future of Eagles Meadow.
He added: "We've got a number of big names coming in, between them they're going to be taking up around 100,000 sq ft.
"One is an outlet retail store that will give significant discounts on clothing, household items, which is just brilliant.
"We've also got planning in for a large leisure operator which would take part of the old Debenhams store. They're a big national operator and essentially it's going to be 50,000 sq feet of just fun.
"It's been touted as a trampoline park, but it's not just going to be that, it's going to be a complete leisure space. We've been working hard on that for the past 18 months and we will 100% be seeing it this year."
Once the new clients are in, Josh's focus will shift to adding more clients to Eagles Meadow with hopes of a social activity to offer.

Josh said: "We're dabbling in different ideas. We want it to become a multi-use space with the leisure aspect as well as the retail.
"We've had some new clients in, Cwtch Pottery Cafe and Retrograde Wrexham and we're looking at putting in some social competitive areas such as axe throwing or Junkyard Golf.
"We've got new owners with a new vision and backing and it's something to be excited about.
"Everyone here is staying for the foreseeable and with the new additions it is really positive news, we should have seen the end of the negative at Eagles Meadow now.
"If people let us know what they would like to see then we will do our best to get them in, we had people asking for the leisure operator and we've got one in. We're happy to hear suggestions.
"Once we get some reinvestment in the site it's really exciting about where we can go next."
