MET OFFICE experts are predicting a real 'mixture' of weather for North Wales over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Many will be enjoying a four-day break from Good Friday (March 29) until Monday (April 1) and will no doubt be hoping for some sunny spells to enjoy.

The Met Office is predicting a 'mixture of sunny spells and scattered showers' throughout Good Friday.

Tonight will see a 'few showers continuing' overnight, these mainly affecting coastal areas. Otherwise, those inland can expect clearer spells developing and lighter winds.

Experts expect a chilly night for all with a minimum temperature 4 °C.

Saturday (March 30) is expected to be 'largely dry to start' with, with the odd shower.

According to the Met Office, residents then can expect some sunny spells through the day with a few showers breaking out though the afternoon, though less heavy than of late. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

The outlook for Sunday (March 31) to Tuesday (April 2) is as follows: "Somewhat drier on Easter Sunday with a few showers around. Cloudier on Monday with some patchy rain or showers, with a few showers on Tuesday too mixed with sunny spells."
