AN UP AND COMING star of the Blues scene is set to perform in Wrexham as part of an epic 100-show tour this year.

Guitarist and singer Toby Lee is taking on shows across UK and Europe throughout 2024.

Already announced as Jools Holland’s special guest for over 60 shows, the 19-year-old will play at least 40 of his own shows across the country including Cheltenham Jazz, Sidmouth and Rye Jazz and many more.

His Wrexham show will see him perform at the Rockin' Chair on Hill Street on April 25 (time TBC).

Celebrated as Young Blues Musician of the Year in 2023 Toby is no stranger to the stage learning his trade as he featured as Zack Mooneyham in the first West End production of School of Rock.

Toby’s been partnered by Gibson Guitars since then and is endorsed by Blackstar Amplification and D’Addario Strings.

He’s recently spent time in Nashville filming for Gibson as well as travelling to Texas at the invitation of the Buddy Holly Foundation for song-writing workshops.
