A WOMAN has been left trapped in her own home after the cruel theft of her mobility scooter.
Rachel Robinson, from Saltney, recently had spinal neck surgery, and has spinal stenosis and nerve damage.
She suffered a dural tear during surgery and is currently awaiting further scans at the Walton Centre in Liverpool - such is the seriousness of her condition.
"I'm in constant agony, basically I can't even lift my kettle," the 50-year-old said.
Rachel relies on her mobility scooter to get around, but sadly had it stolen while at the chemist on Friday (March 15).

"I had little battery left so I parked my scooter on the pavement and took the key out," she said. "I managed to slow walk to get my medication but when I returned my scooter had gone. I don't know how I managed to get home as I was in so much pain.
"It has badly affected my mental health as I can't get out without it."
She added: "It is a disgrace that somebody would stoop low enough to steal a mobility scooter. It's absolutely awful not being able to get out. Whoever has stolen my scooter, please return it as it's an absolute disgrace."
Rachel has reported the matter to North Wales Police.
