SINGER-songwriter Tom Walker has announced he will be performing two free gigs in Wrexham this weekend.

The Scottish artist confirmed on his social media platforms this evening (March 12) that he will be heading to north Wales this weekend.

The 32-year-old is set to perform two free gigs at Queen's Square in the city centre at 11am and 1pm.

Known for hits such as Leave a Light On and Just You and I, Wrexham appears to be in for a treat this weekend.

On a video posted on his social media, Tom said: "A while back we asked which small towns that bands and artists kind of forget about on a touring schedule should we be coming to.

"First of all we did Tamworth, then we did Barnsley. This weekend, on Sunday we are going to be heading to Wrexham in Wales. It was one of the top commented places that we should visit.
