WREXHAM and Flintshire looks set for a somewhat gloomy and overcast Thursday, according to weather experts.
The Met Office has predicted the counties will have a maximum temperature today of 9 degrees, and a minimum of 4.
The organisation has also forecast clouds throughout the day for both areas.
On its Wales weather forecast for today, a spokesman said: "Fog and low cloud lifting this morning to leave a bright day with sunny spells.
"Some heavy showers may develop as we head into the afternoon, but most places remaining dry.

"Any showers fading away this evening, leaving a mostly dry night with broken cloud and clear spells.
"Turning quite chilly with an increasingly gusty easterly wind, particularly in the west."
Friday is expected to be dry with broken cloud and sunny periods, as well as brisk easterly winds.
On the outlook for Saturday to Monday, a Met Office spokesman said: "Often cloudy during this period with the odd brighter break developing now and again.
"Some rain is likely at times, especially on Sunday. Windy at first, with temperatures around average."
