There will be a number of road closures in place on the A55 this week that are set to cause disruptions across North Wales.
These A55 closures come as a result of essential carriageway resurfacing, emergency repairs, maintenance and general roadworks set to be carried out during the week.
The closures are set to take place in various locations up and down the A55 including near Wrexham, Chester, St Asaph, Old Colwyn, Llandudno Junction and Menai Bridge.
These are the sections of the A55 that will experience road closures this week (March 4 to 10).

A55, both directions - junction 5 to 3: There will be daytime lane closures in place on the A55 in both directions between junction 5 (Rhisneigr) and 3 (Valley) from Monday (March 4) until Tuesday (March 5) due to emergency repair works.
Traffic Wales has warned drivers to allow for additional travel time.
A55, eastbound - Junction 8 to 8a: The A55 will be closed eastbound between junctions 8 (Ael y Bowl) and 8a (Carreg) from Monday (March 4) to Thursday (March 7) due to maintenance work.
There will be a local diversion in place during the works.

A55, westbound - Junction 10 to 9: The slip roads westbound on the A55 at junctions 10 and 9 will be closed from Monday (March 4) until Wednesday (March 6).
These closures will be in place each night between 7pm and 6am and local diversions will be in place.
A55, westbound - Junction 16 to 15: The A55 will be closed westbound between junction 16 (Puffin Roundabout) and 15 (Llanfairfechan) from Tuesday (March 5) until Wednesday (March 6) due to roadworks.
A55, westbound - Junction 18: The on and offslips on the A55 at junction 18 (Llandudno Junction) will be closed westbound until next Friday (March 15) due to roadworks.
The roadworks will take place each day between 8am and 2pm and there will be local diversions in place.
A55, both directions - Junction 22: All slips will be closed on the A55 at Junction 22 (Old Colwyn) from Monday (March 4) until next Monday (March 11) due to essential carriageway resurfacing
These closures will be in place every night from 7.30pm until 7am and local diversions will be in place.
A55, eastbound - Junction 24: The offslip on the A55 at junction 24 (Faenol) will be closed eastbound until Friday (March 8) due to roadworks.
Local diversions will be in place.

There will also be a lane closure in place on the main carriageway at junction 24 on the a55 due to improvement works.
These works will take place each day between 7.30pm and 7.30am and as a result, the speed limit will be reduced to 40mph through that section.
Both lots of works have been ongoing since February.
A55, eastbound - Junction 27: The onslip on the A55 at Junction 27 (St Asaph) will be closed eastbound from Wednesday (March 6) to Friday (March 8).
A55, westbound - Junction 34: The offslip on the A55 at Junction 34 (Ewloe Loop) will be closed westbound until March 29 due to maintenance work.
These closures will be in place each day from 7pm until 6amm and local diversions will be in place.
These works have been ongoing since January.
A55, eastbound - Junction 34 to 38: The A55 will be closed eastbound between junctions 34 (Ewloe Loop) and 38 (Chester) until March 31 due to maintenance work.
These closures will take place each day between 7pm and 7am and there will be local diversion in place.
These works have been ongoing since February.

A55, eastbound - junction 36A: The A55 westbound at junction 36A (Broughton) will be closed from Sunday (March 3) to Friday (March 8) due to resurfacing works.
There will be local diversions in place.
