MEMBERS of a Wrexham Girlguiding group are wishing everyone a happy St David's Day.
All the girls and leaders at Bishop's Own (5th Wrexham) Girlguiding are passing along the celebrations with greetings online.
Earlier this week the girls took part in a range of activities, with the Guides creating saltdough love spoons and enjoying Welsh Cakes, while the Rainbows and Brownies brought in costumes and props from home for their message. One member, Elsie Salisbury, even performed her award-winning Welsh poem.
The girls are looking forward to seeing all their videos and more being released online.
Bishop's Own are also proud to have Clover (Alison Cassidy), Brownies' Leader, carrying their flag while she's helping represent Wrexham Girlguiding in the Wrexham St David's Day Parade.
All these activities are part of how Bishop's Own gives girls a space to be themselves, get creative, make friends and have lots of fun. It's also part of the Promise that every girl and volunteer Leader makes, to be active citizens in our local community and the wider world.
