A BUS was left with a smashed windscreen after being "attacked" by a pheasant.
On Friday, Lloyd's Coaches took to social media to state that the incident involved one of its buses that was running the Llangollen to Llanuwchllyn service.
A spokesperson said: "Due to a pheasant attacking a bus, the 7.40am Llangollen to Llanuwchllyn is unable to operate today."
The company did not wish to make any further comment on the incident, other than it "happens all the time".
A comment on the company's Facebook post said: "I was on the bus, and our driver was superb.
"Drove us safely into Llangollen, where a replacement bus was waiting: brilliant driving and a brilliant service."
