A Wrexham man has been fined and banned after police caught him drug-driving.
Adam Crowley, of Bangor Road in Johnstown, was produced in custody at Mold Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The 28-year-old admitted one offence of drug-driving, which took place on the M56 at Chester on August 3 last year.
Justin Espie, prosecuting, told the court that at around 10am on the day of the offence, Crowley was pulled over due to his speed.
Officers noted he "smelled of cannabis" and when tested he was found to have 5.1 microgrammes of cannabis per litre of blood - the limit being 2.

Simon Simmons, defending, told the court his client appeared in custody because he hadn't received the letter about his initial hearing and had been "shocked" when police turned up to arrest him.
"He does smoke cannabis recreationally," he added.
"And was until recently working in a factory.
"He has entered an early guilty plea and has had his licence nearly four years."
District Judge Gwyn Jones handed down a £200 fine, along with £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
He was banned from driving for 12 months.
