WELSH Water has confirmed a water shortage in the Flintshire area following a burst pipe.
Residents in the Deeside area, including Ewloe and Hawarden, of Flintshire are currently experiencing water supply issues with no water available or water with a low pressure.
Welsh Water has now confirmed it is due to a burst pipe which is currently being fixed by engineers.
The water supply is expected to return to normal later on today with updates posted on their website.
A spokesperson said: "We’re dealing with a burst water main affecting the supplies for some customers in Deeside and surrounding areas of Flintshire. We’re working hard to resolve the issue.
"We're sorry for the disruption caused and as our teams continue to fix the issues we’ll be sharing more updates. You can also keep up-to-date through our In Your Area service."
Flintshire residents are sharing videos and images on social media of severe flooding in the area.

Engineers are currently on site and will resolve the issue some time this afternoon.
Sorrel Court, Level Road, Marlborough Avenue and Wood Lane are just several of the areas impacted.
Welsh Water thanks all Flintshire residents for their patience during this time.
