THE CHEAPEST places to get fuel in Flintshire and Wrexham have been revealed. 

Many of us will be heading out and about this weekend - and many of us will also no doubt be stopping to fill up with fuel along the way.

The cost of living crisis remains, and it is essential for drivers to stay informed and consider their options to make the most cost-effective choices at the pump.

Here, we reveal the best places to stop if you need to fill up with petrol or diesel this this weekend...

According to PetrolPrices.com, your best options to fill up with unleaded petrol in the Flintshire area are the Gulf Filling Station at Flint on Northop Road with a price of 138.9p a litre and the Applegreen at Pontblyddyn at 139.8p a litre.

If you're looking for diesel, then your cheapest option is the Gulf Filling Station at Flint with a price of 148.9p a litre.

Also among the cheapest are; Asda at Queensferry (149.7p) and the Dobshill Service Station on Chester Road (149.9p).

Meanwhile, if you're in Wrexham, you might want to make your way to the Smithy View Service Station on Chester Road which is offering unleaded petrol for 133.5p a litre.

Also, the Morrisons on Ruthin Road is currently offering unleaded fuel at 134.7p a litre.

Diesel-wise, Caergwrle Filling Station is currently at 143.9p a litre but your best option in Wrexham is again the Ruthin Road Morrisons at a price of 142.7p a litre.

According to the RAC, the current average price for unleaded petrol across the UK stands at 140.44p a litre.

The average price for diesel meanwhile is currently at 148.42p a litre.
