ONE OF Wrexham AFC's co-chairmen has says there is 'nothing' he wants more than to experience a match in the away end with the Reds.

Fantastic FA Cup runs have been part of the incredible journey to date for the club under the guidance of Rob McElhenney and co-owner Ryan Reynolds.

But, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob says there is still one thing in particular missing for him from the fun of it all.

Premier League legend Alan Shearer was spotted in the Newcastle end away at Fulham over the weekend as they won 2-0 to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup.

And that, along with a Tweet from a Wrexham fan, seemingly sparked Rob's dreams of being in the away end himself with the Reds.

"Totally get Shaun (Harvey) will advise against it on grounds of safety. Shearer just went in the toon end and survived. It’s all good. What’s the worst that can happen ? Being overwhelmed by love!"

Rob responded to the Tweet by saying: "There is nothing I want more than to experience a game in that end. I think about it all the time."

Wrexham's support both home and away has been nothing short of incredible in recent times.

Over 7,000 supporters are travelling to back the Reds in their latest FA Cup match at Blackburn Rovers tonight (January 29).
