POLICE are appealing for help in tracing a missing teenager who has links to Flintshire.

Merseyside Police has launched a public appeal over the whereabouts of Lewis Jones (pictured), from the Leasowe area of Wirral.

The 16-year-old has been missing from his home since Thursday afternoon (January 25), at around 3pm. Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

He is 6ft 2in tall, of slim build, with black curly hair.

Lewis was last seen wearing dark clothing and is known to go to Deeside, police say.
