Drug gang's criminal proceeds confirmed in court
The Leader reported in July last year how four men were jailed for their parts in a multi-gang conspiracy which saw huge amounts of drugs being brought into Wrexham.
A court heard this week how much money the gang is said to have made - and how much remained available for confiscation by the authorities.

A court heard this defendant entered a high street shop in Holywell wearing a mask.
Before stealing items and making good his escape through the back, he told a staff member; "I'll pull the knife out."

A court heard this defendant was not allowed to enter his mum's home in Rhos due to an ongoing restraining order.
But he appeared before a Judge this week for his eighth breach of that order.

Following an "acrimonious" split from her husband of 14 years, this woman went to the home of his new partner.
Whilst there, she caused more than £5,000 worth of damage - as well as subjecting her victim to a terrifying attack.

Wrexham Army veteran in court for assaulting friend (🔒 Subscriber only)
This man found himself in the dock after pushing a man to the floor in the street and threatening to bite his nose off.
He claimed the man, who was at the time his fried, had made 'lewd' advances on his girlfriend after they had been out at the pub.

Three-year football banning order for woman who assaulted police at Wrexham match (🔒 Subscriber only)
A court heard this woman aggressively "stormed" over to a police officer and attempted to strike her at a Wrexham AFC match.
The defendant had heard her boyfriend had been attacked following a 'scuffle' between away supports and security guards.
Now she can't attend matches for the next three years and was ordered to pay the officer compensation.
