A WREXHAM-based shoe artist has designed another eye-catching pair of football boots for Reds star Paul Mullin.

John White set up his business, Zebra Customs, during the Covid-19 lockdown - and since then he has become the trusted boot designer for Wrexham AFC's stars.

This time last year, John designed a pair of boots for Wrexham's prolific forward Mullin, who dedicated them to his son Albi, who had just been diagnosed with Autism.

Those pair of Nike Mercurials featured Albi's name on them along with a jigsaw-piece style heart - synonymous with autism awareness.

Now, a year on, John has again come up with another pair of hand-painted Nikes for Mullin, which the striker himself requested.

Once again, the pair of boots have been dedicated to Albi - and what is currently one of his favourite shows.

The Nikes are in the style of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and features some of the Disney show's characters on them.

Zebra Customs wrote: "Mullin Mouse’s Clubhouse. Love how these turned out! Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed Mercurial Vapours!"

Posting alongside a picture of the boots, Mullin took to Instagram to write: "Albi Mullin over the moon with them. Thanks again Zebra Customs."

Mullin has further spoken about his and Albi's journey following the autism diagnosis on the Welcome to Wrexham documentary.

The last pair of boots he wore dedicated to his son were worn against Sheffield United in the FA Cup.

The match was televised on BBC and ended in a 3-3 draw, which saw Mullin on the scoresheet.

Could we see his latest pair of boots be used in the club's upcoming FA Cup match v Blackburn Rovers on Monday night (January 29)?
