A WREXHAM based charity has received £10,000 courtesy of North Wales Freemasons.

The organisation donated the funds to Your Space, a charity based in Llay which supports young people with autism.

A £5,000 donation from North Wales Freemasons Charity (NWFC) was match funded by £5,000 from the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF).

The charity runs events and activities including a teens club, expressive arts, family days out and holiday clubs. Providing a network of support for families through their Outreach Team and Family Support Service, Your Space has a wide reach across Wrexham and beyond.

Debbie Moody, head of finance and trustee director at Your Space said: “We are delighted to receive £10,000 from North Wales Freemasons. This donation will support our Positive Futures Project and enable us to help more young people with autism and their families.

"On behalf of everyone at Your Space, I would like to say a big thank you to North Wales Freemasons for their wonderful donation.”

Phil James, NWFC Chairman, said “This funding will go directly to Your Space’s Positive Futures Project, providing a comprehensive service for children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The project covers life skills; holiday club, toddler sensory playtime and Saturday Social.

"North Wales Freemasons proud to support this local charity as they deliver vital services within our community.”
