A ROAD traffic collision has sparked heavy traffic on a main road in Flintshire.
North Wales Police have confirmed they are in attendance at an RTC on the A550 near Dobshill.
They say officers are at the scene of the incident towards the Penymynydd roundabout and are urging the public to avoid the area.
Traffic reports show there is heavy traffic in the surrounding areas.
Motorists face delays and are encouraged to use alternative routes.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A550 at #Dobshill towards the Penymynydd roundabout
"Officers are on scene however there is a heavy build up of traffic, please avoid the area and use an alternative route if possible."
